Secret Something

I learned this "game" from a brilliant Kindergarten teacher. To clean up the classroom at the end of the day the teacher announces that she spies 2 or 3 Secret Somethings. She doesn't tell the kids what they are but it is trash or other things that need to be picked up off the floor. The kids race to pick up anything they see on the floor. When the floor is clean she announces the names of the kids who picked up the secrets somethings. The kids love this. The teacher says the kids even ask their parents if they can play it at home. Parents say it works just as well at home as at school. I have done this and rewarded the kids with a small prize or treat. I highly recommend trying this at home.
