Bubble Recipe
There's no need to pay a lot of money for a small bottle of bubble solution. You can do it yourself with dish washing liquid. The secret is that there are 2 brands that work the very best. They are Dawn and Joy. The reason these are the best is that the bubble will last much longer than with other dish washing liquids. These may be a little more expensive but when you compare what you pay for a small bottle of bubbles in the toy store, these are very reasonable.
So here is the VERY EASY Recipe.
1 C of Dawn or Joy dish washing liquid.
15 C water.
Makes 1 gallon. That is it.
Once in a while I will add teaspoon or 2 of glycerin to help with the strength of the bubble walls but really this is very optional and most of the time I only use the soap and water.
Then add a child and you have instant fun!! And this is the result! I love the expression on his face.
We are using the homemade bubble wand from an earlier post to make these. The giant bubble wand cost about 30 to 50 cents and takes less than 5 minutes to make.
