The Best Play dough Recipe

BEST PLAY DOUGH RECIPE

To help my daughter last week I made some play dough from a recipe that she gave to me. It was similar to mine but it didn't require cooking. Later when she used it, it was terrible. She said that it got really sticky when the kids played with it and they spent most of their time scrapping it off their workspace.
So here is the best play dough recipe I've ever used. It is fast to make, doesn't get sticky and lasts a long time in a sealed container in the refrigerator.

5 MINUTE PLAY DOUGH
1  C flour
1 C water
1 Tblsp oil
1/2 C salt
1 tsp cream of tartar
food coloring (optional)

Measure all the ingredients into a sauce pan. It will be soupy.  Stir and cook over medium heat until the mixture forms a ball. (This will only take 1-2 minutes of cooking time.) Remove from heat. Cool. Add food coloring and knead until it is thoroughly mixed. It will keep up to 3 months in a tightly covered container in the refrigerator.
Enjoy!
